Healthy pH Levels
Anyone that owns a swimming pool knows that chlorine kills bugs. Bacterial, viral, fungal and parasitic cells have a tough time surviving in the alkaline environment (higher pH level) of chlorinated water.
It turns out cancer cells are not much different. Human cancer cells are genetically mutated “normal” cells. All of us have them. By naturally increasing your pH level, you help create an alkaline environment within your bodies that makes it very difficult on cancer cells. Stop right there…I’m not recommending you drink chlorine, but I do suggest you make some changes in your diet that enables your body to destroy these mutated cells before they proliferate.
Plant it, grow it, pick it, wash it then eat it. I usually skip the first three steps, but you get the idea. An alkaline diet is chock full of fresh, raw fruits and vegetables. Raw food tastes better and has more nutritional value. For those of you that get bored with raw veggies, try juicing them. Treat yourself to a raw juice with organic carrots, green apples, spinach, kale and ginger (spicy) for breakfast.
Drinking plenty of water keeps the body hydrated. Squeezing fresh lemon juice into it makes the water more acidic in the glass, but miraculously increases your pH when you drink it.
Milk…healthy or not? The only species that should be drinking cow’s milk are baby cows, no matter what the advertisements say. Dairy products are very acidic. Cow’s milk leaches calcium from your bones in order to neutralize the acid it contains. The only food product worse for you is cheese. Healthy alternatives to cow’s milk include almond, hemp or soy milk, unsweetened (of course). Making drastic changes in your diet is almost always a recipe for disaster. Small changes implemented over time are the best way to keep to the program.
By slowly changing your diet from an animal based acidic diet to a healthier, alkaline forming diet, you’ll feel younger and stronger while being proactive towards your own good health.
